Welcome to Demasiado (too much/many)
I always loved this Spanish word. In the English speaking world, we call it ‘too much’.
This blog is so titled as it is unequivocably and unashamedly in support of those people who sometimes think they are: “too much”.
You know who you are.
The ones who never say a commonplace thing but burn burn burn like roman candles across the night.
I think you are the ‘mad ones’ Jack Kerouac was thinking about when he wrote this. I think in the 21st century, you are just ‘too much’.
This blog is one person’s ideas, written down and shared.
I have no intention to start conversations. Nor am I interested in anyone else’s opinion on something they read here.
I hope that on this corner of the internet, I can offer entertainment which makes you laugh and think. I am sure much of what I write will achieve neither.
But as the old saying goes, if I can get one person to question what they are told or always believed, I will have done my job.
This blog is too much. I am too much.
But you have no obligation to read it.
Who you give your attention to is completely your business. If you decide that you’d like to give it to me for a few moments, then I hope you enjoy what you read.
If you do not, then that is OK. I wish you nothing but success in all your future endeavours.
Especially you Jenny Beckman. Bitch.
If you’re staying, expect unbridled views with excoriating scorn and passionate love stories. As I invented it, nothing is beyond the scope of this blog and therefore I will talk as frankly about sex and alcoholism as I will about my unreasonable dislike of video games or Olivia Coleman.
All I guarantee is truth. Or at least what’s true in my world, as I see it. At this moment in time.
Thank you.
